KEES Vacations COVID-19 Update:
Wednesday, August 11, 2021

Greetings again from the sunny and gorgeous Outer Banks!

With the COVID-19 delta variant impacting the hospitality and tourism industry, we remain unflappable in our commitment to team safety.

We might sound like a broken record at this point, but our position remains the same. The cleaning and sanitizing processes we’ve been following with extra attention remain in place indefinitely. Our supervisor team is combing reviews and surveys, making sure our homes are as clean as possible, using PPE and recommended chemical solutions while staying attentive to changes from CDC, state, and local government directives. Our Maintenance team is back to using PPE as well.

On the guest side, our surveys tell us that guests love all our extra added amenities such as hand soap in each bathroom as well as our new-for-2021 pre-wrapped towel-sets to help keep things as safe as we can.

“Kees made everything easy! The key code door lock saved us from collecting and returning a key. Kees provided starter supplies of dish detergent, paper towels, and coffee k-cups. The provided linens included a dish cloth and dish towel. Each bathroom had soap and shampoo dispensers. All so convenient! Thanks!”

In the office, our team stance is keeping each other safe. The workplace should be, after all, a fun and safe environment. We stay vigilant to challenge ourselves to stay safe, wash hands whenever possible, use PPE when in contact with each other, and using sanitizer wherever we can.

With just a few weeks until traditional summer ends, we know the season still has a long way to go. But we wanted to give a quick update to let you know that our guests are safe with KEES

KEES Vacations COVID-19 Update:
Wednesday, November 25, 2020

As COVID-19 continues to shape traditional holiday travel as we know it, we would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our safety commitment to our guests, employees, and homeowners.

Ensuring Workplace Safety

Like many Property Managers, this season has presented many challenges and uncovered many opportunities. It has also given us a chance to show what we are made of. With careful planning and strategy, we have been able to retain many of our staff members who have become very familiar with our homes and our processes for cleaning safety. We continue to follow CDC recommendations and local guidance to limit contact and exposure with others, as well as making use of Personal Protective Equipment. We have enhanced protocols to include temperature checks at the beginning of each shift. We invite you to review the details of our procedures here.

Staying Proactive

Both Dare and Currituck Counties actively educate and share daily COVID-19 related knowledge for visitors and residents. For those interested in traveling this fall or winter, it is OK to assume you may safely distance in a private rental home while you enjoy miles of beaches and pristine coastline. Working remote or traveling for leisure to the Outer Banks is a perfect low-risk getaway option compared to other regions with higher population density. We will do our best to share recommendations and guidelines to stay safe while on vacation through pre-arrival emails and on our website.

FlexStay™ Travel Dates

Checking-in or out on any day you want has its perks. Traveling during off-peak hours is always a fan-favorite for our guests. While many other Property Managers turn over their homes on the same day, our homes are prepared for your arrival based on your arrival date. So, you will have comfort knowing the home is cleaned and ready for your arrival without the crunch of preparing ALL homes at the same time in a small timeframe. Even though it’s the off-season, you’d be surprised at how busy It can be on a check-in weekend around here, especially when it’s nice outside.

To those who have stayed with us this season, thank you! We really appreciate your patience and understanding of what was considered a banner year on the Outer Banks. We hope that you’ll consider us again for next year. We are already looking forward to providing you clean and safe rental accommodations for many years to come. To those getting ready to head down here, have a fun and safe holiday. We will be here every step of the way.
