After landing in Norfolk, you will then head south on NC-168 and US-158 where you will drive over the Wright Brothers Memorial Bridge. When you get to the road signs pointing you to NC12 North, you will stay straight. Continue down Croatan Highway through Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Nags Head. You will eventually turn left onto Cape Hatteras National Park Rd. Follow RT12 South through Rodanthe and Waves. Following Waves, you will come to the town of Salvo. Turn left onto Tarheel Court.

If you are coming from the West, you will follow 64E into Dare County, then take a slight right onto S Va Dare Trail. You will turn right onto Cape Hatteras National Park Rd. Follow RT12 South through Rodanthe and Waves. Following Waves, you will come to the town of Salvo. Turn left onto Tarheel Court.

Why is Tarheel Shores the Ideal Place to Live?

Salvo, where Tarheel Shores is located, along with the other tri-villages town of Rodanthe and Waves located just 30 miles from Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, has become one of the most popular vacation spots. Simple beauty and a feel of relaxation make this the perfect place to live. With its lack of commercial properties and closeness to the beach on one side and the sound on the other, there is no place like it for peacefulness. For those who are water sports enthusiasts, you could not ask for a better place to make your home. From fishing, and surfing to kiteboarding and everything in between. There is never a lack of anything to do.

What Should I Know When Checking in Tarheel Shores Rentals?
