Kees Vacations made it possible to provide our aging Dad, who recently had heart surgery, with a wonderful vacation. The rental unit was perfect and well stocked with all that was needed to make the rental feel like home. The Kees management staff was very friendly and made us feel like family.

The Stowe Retreat property was decorated with a modern vibe and solid amenities but yet also felt quaint and village-like, as the surrounding Hatteras Village area felt. Stowe Retreat was spacious, quiet, clean and felt very safe, which was important for me since I stayed there with my dog. You have a beautiful balcony view of the sweet little plaza below and the Atlantic front just beyond the rode. Your stay grants you access to the pool at the Motel across the street, as well. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during my time there but honestly I wasnt wanting pooltime as much as beach and exoloring time so this didnt hinder how much i enjoyed my stay at all! A very short drive from Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (if you turn left) and the free Ferry to go across to Ocracoke Island (if you turn right out of the plaza--I visited both areas and HIGHLY recommend doing so!!). Couldn't much ask for a better location if you want to experience the best of Hatteras Island. You are close to several shopping areas, cafes, restaurants, marinas, general stores/grocery areas, gas stations, a medical clinic, a car repair shop and peaceful places to walk and explore. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The KEES Vacations staff was very prompt in their communications with me, either via email, phone call or texts and offered excellent customer service and support!! Thank you so, so much for a very special vacation! Praise Jesus! ❤️

My family and I were in a little pickle when trying to find another place to stay. I called Kees Vacation and I was lucky to have Brandy answer the phone. She was so understanding, super friendly and she was doing everything she could to help us find a place to accommodate our needs. We will definitely reach out to Kees again for our stays in the future!

Stoves Retreat
Loved this little gem. Was in perfect distance to the beach and the pool was right there as well. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Beautiful property located close to the beach.
This is a great getaway property located in the town of Hatteras. We loved the open layout and how close it was to the beach. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to getaway.

We had a really nice stay. The place was laid out nicely and it was great having a balcony. Our only issue was the open rooms. It was loud and sounds echoed through the place.

This is a fantastic location! I really enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the beach. It’s a great beach location for stargazing because there aren’t a lot of lights nearby.
The central location allows you to access Hatteras village, Frisco, and Buxton all within just a few minutes.
There’s a deli right below you. But it’s only open from 11 to 3. So you don’t have to worry about too much noise in the evenings when you’re looking for some quiet time. The location is fairly quiet most of the time.
There are two bedrooms. But I would make sure that you’re aware of the fact that the walls don’t go all the way to the ceiling. So all that you have some privacy between the bedrooms, you may want to be aware of that fact should you engage in activities that might require more privacy.

Very nice location. Close to the beach. Deli was right below us. Friendly people all around. No issues. Spacious condo. Very nice. Great views.

Great condo with everything you could need! It’s super close to the Oceanside beach which is exactly what we wanted.
As an FYI, the walls to the rooms don’t hit the ceiling, so you can hear everyone’s business (including the bathroom). That wasn’t an issue for us but it’s good to know!

Did want to note that the bedroom walls are partial walls and do not go to the ceiling. Our small children thankfully did fine with their sound machines.

Awesome place for the value. Location was a short walk across the street, as explained. Had to reach out to the host, who was very responsive, and issue was resolved within minutes. Will definitely stay again!!

On this last minute adventure, my family had a wonderful time. The place was spacious. Totally enjoyed coffee on the balcony and my kids adored the bunk beds.

Short walk to the beach

This spot was a lot bigger than I expected. Loved having the deck to hangout on and the short walk to the beach! Very clean and a nice kitchen, living room, and bedroom to stay!
