Now Hiring Linen Driver
SUMMARY: The Linen Driver is responsible for picking up and dropping off linens (clean and soiled) to KEES rental homes and units on assigned routes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but not limited to)
- Follows assigned route from KEES Operations Building
- Loads and unloads linens (clean and soiled) at KEES Operations Building.
- Delivers clean linens to rental homes and units, then follows the route back to pick up soiled linens.
- Separates the soiled sheets from the soiled towels at Operations Building.
- Responsible for driving KEES Linen Trucks
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires walking and sitting for significant periods. Requires the ability to perform physical labor: lifting (up to 75 pounds frequently). Dexterity in pushing and pulling, climbing, stretching and bending. Requires the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with guests and staff members.
- ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Indoors, 75% protected from the weather. Outdoors, 25% unprotected from the weather
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Driving-must be able to navigate route in safe and timely manner during heavy seasonal traffic
- Effective communication: can communicate in a timely, effective, and appropriate way in person and through various apps.
- Time management: must be able to work in restrictive timelines and execute job roles accurately to avoid rework.
- Adaptability-respond quickly to changes in routines and schedules.
- Teamwork and collaboration-every employee needs to accommodate the views and opinions of other team members, be teachable, and capable of mentoring coworkers based on strengths.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years of age or older
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Valid and current driver`s license
- Work holidays and weekends
HAZARDS: May include, but not be limited to, slipping, tripping, and other injuries incurred through the performance of physical labor.
