Perfect cottage for our quick getaway. Very close to ocean with steps leading over the sand. Cottage has no stairs which is important for us.

We are so grateful to have found Oceanside Cottages! We only needed space for two nights, and most places require a three night minimum, so the flexibility was ideal. The cottages were wonderful, spacious, had everything we could possibly need, and we could hear the ocean. Our friends normally stay farther north, but they fell in love here and plan to book it for their next vacation. Thank you, Kees!

Nice little cottage! Great location and quiet. Beds very comfortable & water pressure good. Roomy kitchen/dining/living area. Will stay again. However, I know being at the beach means lots of sand but in front of our cottage at the end the sand was so deep in the parking lot it made it very difficult to get to our designated parking spot & park. The sand was very deep in front of the cottage's entry & screened porch door & on the screened porch itself. When we went out to the store a man from a different unit was kind enough to clean the sand from in front of the cottage & off of the porch but the deep sand was still in parking lot preventing me from parking in my designated space. I never was able to find out if that kind man was a Kees employee or a guest, didn't see him again, but his assistance was greatly appreciated. I texted Kees about this issue and you were slow to respond but never corrected the situation. Kees should keep access to rental units & parking spaces clear.

Hopefully the pictures of the interior have been updated. If you looked at photos and they show carpet and an old looking kitchen, then these are the old pictures. This cottage was renovated in the 19-20 off season and is now modern with laminate flooring, an updated kitchen, and a new bathroom. It’s cute, fresh, clean, and literally nestled in the sand dunes. I’m so glad we stayed here. The place and location are great. Staff are also kind and attentive.

PERFECT!
Clean, comfortable and well kept little cottage that was absolutely perfect for our needs. Right on the beach. Close to everything we needed for our one night stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and recommend this wonderful little cottage to anyone who would like an pleasant, cost effective Outer Banks stay.
