Perfect for a few nights at the beach only a literal couple steps from the ocean. Mom dad and 2 kids slept comfortably after spending all day doing activities

If you have never stayed at a beach before during high season, be prepared for the high cost of everything. This property is in need of a facelift, but that said, it was comfortable, and clean. The location is great with a 30 second walk to the beach. You can’t see the ocean from the unit, so if that is a criteria for you, this is not your place. Bonus points that Booty Ice Cream is a 45 second walk away. There is a small air conditioner that keep the living area cool, but the bedrooms were a little hot. Daytime temps while we were there were in the high 80s. The TV is small, but you don’t come to the beach to watch TV. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The bathroom is small, as in sit on the toilet and wash your hands at the same time, small.
The kitchen is adequate for simple meals. All said and done we would stay here again.

Great location, just steps to the beach, close to groceries, gas, good restaurants and OBX attractions. Rustic cottage, reasonably clean, not luxurious but it has all of the essentials for a nice stay. We’d stay here again in the future.

This was EXACTLY what we were looking for! The cottage was so cute and VERY clean. Everyone in the family enjoyed our stay. We loved the beach access so close by. We were right by all the shops and dining areas, perfect location.
