The Wright Brothers National Memorial is an absolute must-see during your visit to the Outer Banks! Gaze up at the magnificent granite monument which sits atop the hill where Wilbur and Orville Wright changed the world on December 17th, 1903 with wings and a dream. The manicured fields are the perfect place to take your pet for a leisurely stroll, but leashes are required. Pets are not permitted inside of the buildings at the Memorial.
