Recently named as one of the “Top 100 to Play in North Carolina” by Golf Styles Magazine, Kilmarlic is located just over the bridge in Powell’s Point on 600 acres of maritime forest & marsh. This course was designed by Tom Steele and was the host of the North Carolina Open in both 2004 & 2009 but is always in tournament condition!
The Currituck Club
Designed by Rees Jones, the 1995 Golf World Architect of the Year, this championship course was rated one of the “10 Best New Places You Can Play” by Golf magazine, and in May of 1999, Golf Digest recognized The Currituck Club as one of the “Top 25 Courses in North Carolina.” At this Corolla golf course you’ll find diverse coastal terrain, including sand dunes, wetlands, maritime forests and sound side shoreline.
Nags Head Golf Links
If you’re looking for views while you golf, you won’t want to skip Nags Head Golf Links! This Scottish Links style course designed by Bob Moore runs along the Roanoke Sound and the coastal breeze adds to the challenging course. Golf Digest calls the Links, “Among the most beautiful in the eastern United States” and has named it in it’s Top 50!
Located right in the heart of Kitty Hawk, Seascape Golf Links offers views of the Atlantic Ocean from a number of holes and makes it convenient to fit in a round of golf and some time on the beach in the same day!
The Pointe Golf Club
Voted “Best of the Beach” 2014 - 2017 and 2019 - 2020, The Pointe is perfect for golfers of all skill levels and boasts a large practice facility. Said to be one of the most fun and playable courses, it has also received many other accolades from Golf Advisor over the years.
The Carolina Club
Sister Club to the Pointe and a little further off the beach but worth the drive is The Carolina Club in Grandy! This golf course has been named part of Golf Advisors “Top 25 Friendliest Courses” and “Best of North Carolina” on multiple occasions and offers some of the finest putting surfaces in the Southeast!
Duck Woods Country Club
Duck Woods Country Club’s 18-hole championship golf course was designed by the renowned architect Ellis Maples. Ellis and his design team created over 70 golf courses in the Southeast, including Pinehurst #5. Duck Woods is a semi-private course and visitors may play when tee-times are available.
