Great Time in OBX
We loved the property location - short walk to the beach and short drive to conveniences. The property was in great condition. We would have preferred more than one trash bag and roll of toilet paper and other essentials as we flew in and didn’t have the capacity to take it back.

What a find! Private beach access is just steps away. Clean and simple living space with everything you can need. Fresh towels and linens were a nice touch. Although we didn't spend much time in the house, it was an amazing stay!

Our code for the door didn't work when we got there but a quick call to Kee’s and they had it reset and we were in! Second time I have booked with Kee’s. Love the beach access! Parking is TIGHT but other than that, it's perfect!

Better privacy than almost any place for the price. My wife and I were looking for something with direct beach access and more privacy but still being affordable. This really fit the bill on what we were looking for. Bit of a drive from walmart but was worth it! Also the driveway is elevated from the road so much less risk of flood damage to your car if theres a storm.

The location was great, my family had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay here again. It is close to everything (grocery stores, outlets, beach of course, ice cream spots, restaurants, etc. ) However , the area isn’t crowded which is great.

Great location with close proximity to all the restaurants and businesses on 158 and easy steps to the beach. Pool was great after a day at the beach. The bathrooms and kitchen were brand new and the place was very clean. Highly recommend.

Our Whalebone cottage was great for a few days' getaway. It was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of room for our family of 5. The location is great - our cottage was not directly on the beach, but the cottage complex was and so it only took a minute to walk up to the sand. I thought it was a good value, although we were there in October so I don't know about high season prices.
Overall the cottage was clean, although the sofas in the living room are stained and kind of gross. The grill didn't work and neither did the AC, which was not a big deal for us but would have been a real problem in July.
One important thing to know is that there is no washer or drier available at the cottage or anywhere in the Whalebone complex. This was workable for a short stay, but anyone who has spent time at the beach knows how important it is to be able to wash and dry wet, salty, sandy clothes, towels, and swimsuits. I wouldn't have wanted to spend a whole week at the beach without a W&D. Also, you are only provided with one bath towel per sleeping spot (so 7 total, I think). You may want to bring more, especially since you can't wash and dry them. Same for dish towels.

Great location. If you are looking for quick access to the beach this is it. I went on a week vacation with my family (2 young children) and we had everything we needed in the cottage (3 bedrooms). The cottage is close to many grocery stores and walking distance to restaurants and ice cream shops. My only somewhat negative point is that there is no washer and dryer. Other than that it was worth the stay and we will certainly be back.

Overall nice place pool is clean and easy access to beach. Little small on parking, and cars driving to fast on drive, we can’t let kids play outside. And no watcher and drier.

This was exactly what my family and I needed for a trip to the Outer Banks and it was super nice to have easy access to a community pool and the public beach with a few minutes walk. Plenty of space inside the cottage for all 5 of us. If we stayed longer it would have been nice to have a washer/dryer but it worked out since we stayed for a few days. We'd definitely come back in the future.

Modern and very clean! Beds comfy and stocked kitchen. One min walk to pool and three min to the beach! Good wifi and TVs in every bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.

These cottages are brand new but still maintain a classic Nags Head beach cottage atmosphere. The kitchen is super nice and fully stocked with brand new top of the line appliances and cookware. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. The pool was a great addition and the beach access was super easy and convenient. Host was friendly and very responsive to our requests. We will definitely stay here again!

Great space and great location. We wanted a place that was walking distance to the beach, yet had a pool. We are also only a family of five, so a huge rental was out of the question. Cottage A was perfect for us. Plenty of room and modern amenities. The hosts were great as well. When we had questions or had issues with the place, they responded immediately.
