Fantastic beach house! We loved everything about it

Fantastic spot! Definitely would stay here again if we come back to the area. Short walk to the beach, ice cream, a brewery, and several restaurants. Grocery store very close by. Loved the outdoor shower! House came with plenty of beach chairs and accessories. Outside trash was overflowing when we arrived but I contacted the rental company and someone came the next day to get it.

Great location. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach (while hauling all the supplies we brought). Great location for northern sightseeing. Multiple bars, shops and restaurants in walking distance. Even more options writing a 5 min drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Second time staying here. The owners take care of the property and it shows. Perfect location, very clean, beds are like sleeping on a cloud very comfortable, everything you need for the beach and more. We will be back again.

the home just like pictures posted, nice clean update, kitchen have all cooking tools (except no dish washer, wife give me some fuss), have all beach gears if any needs, short walk to the beach, we like to come back in futures .

Excellent small house for a family
This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We were able to fit stuff for two infants (rented from a partner vendor), the kitchen was well stocked and perfect, and everything was just wonderful. Great communication from the property manager as well.

We were first-time visitors to the OBX and we are so glad we chose Salty Pause for our stay! Kees made our check-in and check-out a breeze. The home was clean, cozy, and just the right size for our family of 4. Plenty of towels, pillows and bedding were provided. Each bedroom had a TV, which was nice when our teens needed a little downtime and space. We spent much time on the deck and in the hammock underneath in the afternoons and evenings. The neighborhood was quiet, and we found it easy to relax out there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. We brought our own, but were surprised to find many beach supplies in the closet downstairs. The location is amazing! Many restaurants and shops within walking distance, or a short drive. Public beach access was right at the end of the street. This place truly exceeded our expectations in every way and will be at the top of our list when planning our next vacay!

Perfect OBX Rental For Us
This was our 3rd time staying at Salty Pause! We fell in love with this rental property on our first visit. Now, when we begin plans to visit OBX again, we always check Salty Pause first rather than taking chances with other properties. And we've been lucky so far! We spend a lot of time outdoors when visiting. Salty Pause's location is perfect, steps from the beach in one direction and steps from shopping/dining in the other direction. We absolutely love Salty Pause and will definitely be booking again the next chance we get.

Perfect location for a getaway!
Great place for our family to getaway and enjoy the beach. So many beach amenities provided, I wish I'd thought to ask before bringing all we did. Centrally located to many restaurants and shops. Some great places were walkable distance.

The Salty Pause, rented through Kees Vacation rentals, was perfect for our 3 night OBX vacation! We were very happy to have the option of a shorter stay and the house was in a perfect location. It is a very easy walk to the beach and also nearby many excellent restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed sunset at Jockey's Ridge and also visited the Bodie Island light house. The house itself was perfect - very clean, and had everything we needed. We did read the emails sent prior to our trip and they were very helpful! The beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed every aspect of the house. We will definitely return in the future!

First vacation as a Party of 3
This place was a perfect little getaway for my husband, 9 month old and I for our first little vacation as a family. Super clean. Easy walk to beach, straight shot to public beach access. Unfortunately we probably won’t stay again because we usually bring our dogs and they don’t allow pets, otherwise we would definitely return. Only downside was no dishwasher which I didn’t realize until we got there. We never use the dishwasher on vacay, but with all the baby bottles I actually planned to this time (of course)! You won’t be disappointed staying here!

We had such a great time at this rental property! The communication, cleanliness, location and space were all top notch! Unfortunately, we had bad weather for the weekend so we were unable to go to the close beach access but we made it up with going to local breweries, restaurants and shops. We definitely want to come back over the summer!

The Salty Pause is a very nice vacation home. It appears to be recently and completely remodeled. It is very well decorated, very clean and very current. Everything is in great working order. The walk to the beach is conveniently straight down the road.

The house was clean and very close to the beach which was wonderful. Our check in time was 4 PM and we arrived a little after 5 PM. When we got there, the cleaning staff was still there, and they asked us to give them a few more minutes to finish up, so our check in was delayed a bit. There was a small bees nest on the front porch and I ended up getting stung. Other than those 2 things, our stay was great. We enjoyed the porch, swing, grill, and outdoor shower. The close proximity to the beach and restaurants was so nice and made our vacation even better.
