We have been visiting the Outerbanks for over 25 years. We have rented many homes over the years. We loved the way this home laid out. It met our needs and was very comfortable. We would definitely book this home again. Close to restaurants and shopping. The back yard was a great place for our little one to run and play with his furry buddies. We had a great trip and made many amazing memories. Thanks for sharing this home with our family.

Transformative
Fantastically located yet very private. Great for more than one person as the house has great options for "solo" space in multiple areas. Very accommodating and accessible management who really contributed to making our stay all the more peaceful.

It was very hard trying to decide where to stay for our first trip to OBX. I traveled with my parents and 2 teenage kids. We narrowed our choice to Dawn Patrol because of the location. The view and sound of the beach was breathtaking. We were mere steps from the beach but felt as though we had plenty of privacy. The accommodations were exactly as described and we felt right at home upon arrival. We traded some amenities that were more common in other choices for location and it was perfect. We would absolutely book with this host again in the future.

We were happy with Dawn Patrol for our long weekend away. Everything was pretty nice, and we loved that we got to bring our well-behaved pup. The location was fantastic and hearing the ocean waves from the porches and bedroom was incredible.

Fantastic location. The screened in porch was great, as was the deck with clear views of the ocean. Amazing backyard and lots of space under the house for beach items. Slightly older house, but that did not bother us at all. We had a great week and would stay here again.

Since the grandchildren are little, it was easy to walk across the street to the beach and bring all they needed, sand toys etc. The fenced in back yard was also a fun place to play as we charcoal grilled the dinner. The three outside porches were a plus with the views and ocean breezes. As we cooked we could still see the ocean from the kitchen window. The outside shower made it easy to wash off so that we didn’t bring the sand into the house. Target was close so you could buy all the paper good and spices needed. Waking up to see the sunrise from the deck was incredible.

We stayed a week at Dawn Patrol and I cannot say enough about the location. Being directly across the street is unbeatable. The three (3) decks, with one screened in, were so enjoyable. My family enjoyed playing in the yard which is actually nicer than pictured, and everyone had their own space with all the bedrooms. A fully stocked kitchen allowed us to eat at home and we used the grill out front. We will be back!

everything was perfect, the house was beautiful, the location amazing, the backyard perfect for dog friendly people. right across from the beach with an incredible view and ocean breeze. also right down the street from a few restaurants. neighbor was so friendly and welcoming as well. would rent this place 100x again.

This was a fantastic place for a family vacation. Lots of room, plenty of room for meals inside or out in the screened in porch or the deck with ocean views. The house is still in need of some updates but it was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Excellent property exactly as expected. The decks were a favorite spot for us all weekend and the big backyard with sod was perfect for our dog and the kids to enjoy! And the beach access was so close! We’d love to stay there again!

I stayed here with 4 of my friends and a dog. There was plenty of space for us. We are huge into cooking during our trips, and the kitchen was stocked well with baking/cooking pans, pots, utensils, knives, plates, cups, and more. The location was great. Such a short walk to the beach. One day it was chilly during our stay in early April so we decided to lay out in the backyard. It’s great to have deck space in the front facing the beach and in the back.

Great location with even better views. The sun rises and sets right in front of the house. Everything you need is a very short drive away. Bring a fishing pole and enjoy your time here.
