Great Beach House!
This house was great! Very clean. Check in was easy. Close to many public beach parking places, restaurants and plenty of shopping. Easy to see the sunrise in the morning and within walking distance to catch the sunset! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again I would definitely recommend this place!!

Great stay!

We stayed at Sounds Good and we thought it was Awesome.  We originally booked a house in Avon and when we arrived we realized we were in trouble.  We immediately started looking for a place and came across Sounds Good.  They were even able to get us in a few hours earlier and since I was awake for over 28 hours, it was a HUGE blessing.  My family was very satisfied/happy with this house.  We all want to go back.  We did find a couple spiders but if you saw what we saw in the 1at house then you would understand our review.  Con:  shower in master bathroom was VERY slippery but easy fix. Went to the dollar store and bought a bath mat and cut it to fit the shower.    Other than that, we had a wonderful time and thoughtful the place was very clean, a fresh scent throughout the house.  We will use KEES again.

Perfect
Our stay was AWESOME. House was clean, a fresh of clean air (the place we originally booked was horrible in every way possible). We were up all night looking for a place to stay and came across Sounds Good. We all loved it and would definitely stay again. We bought some pails and shovels for the beach and left them in the outside shower area for the next family. Basically, we loved the house and the area and would rent again.

Good time
Everything was great. The jets in the tub need cleaned . There is mold in them so we did not use it. Also could ave used a skillet big enough to cook for 5 to 6 people. Bought another and cooked in shifts. Other than that it was great.

Great neighborhood
The home is in a nice location on the OBX bay side — there is a great running path and it is close to a public pier. However, being on the bay side and not close to a cross walk meant we had to drive to the beach, which is a minor inconvenience. The house is spacious and well equipped. One recommendation for the property manager is to do a through cleaning and walk through prior to the arrival of your next guests. We were disappointed to find dirty cups, mugs, plates and cutlery in the kitchen cupboards and had to wash them all before using. Despite that minor bump in our stay, we had a terrific time in OBX.

Excellent location

Great location and home
Had a blast in obx! This home was stunning and clean, conveniently located near lots of stores & activities soundside and not far from oceanside, short walks to beautiful views and beaches. Spacious rooms, nice decks and ammenities; I'm dying to find out where the owners got these gorgeous seashell napkin rings we saw in drawer 😆 had a blast overall, thanks for memories.

Great vacation home
We enjoyed our stay at the Sound Good vacation home. House was clean and had everything we needed. There were a couple issues when we checked in but I contacted property mgmt and they corrected issues the next day. TVs in every room was a plus but need to have instructions on how to operate and what channels and apps are available. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.

Just a couple hiccups
Overall, this was a great place to stay! Clean (though all the carpets were still damp on arrival - I assume from steam-cleaning?), nice quiet neighborhood, etc. My only issues were: 1) I get a phone call an hour before a new refrigerator is brought to the home by gentlemen working for the management company (granted, I missed the call and had no idea until the workers arrived). Not sure what would’ve happened if we’d been out and about already? And 2) granted, I got a call well in advance (3 days) regarding an HVAC service call, but no window as to when they’d arrive that day, and again - not sure what would’ve happened if we’d been gone? In the end, there was minimal inconvenience, but it would be best if service calls were done when the place isn’t being rented out. But it was clean, well-stocked, and convenient for the beach!

This house is in a great location. There is a lovely pier to walk to and watch the sunset. The beach is a short walk from the house as well. There are tons a great restaurant and ice cream shops in the area. We liked being able to park our car in the carport which helped keep it cool. The pin code entry was great so you don’t have to worry about losing a key when you go out.

Perfect home
This was my first time in kill devil hills. The house was spectacular. Perfect location to beach, avalon pier and the bay. This home was equipped with everything you need for your stay. The beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. I will recommend you drive to the beach and not walk since there's a very busy highway dividing it.

This place was great! The location was great as you are a 5 minute walk to the sound on one side and a short drive to the beach on the other. The place was very spacious with a very stylish touch. It supplied everything you needed for a great family trip. The only minor issue was that the master bedroom did not have Roku or cable tv. The tv was there but we were not able to access any tv in that room at all. The host offered to have someone come out and fix the issue but they never showed. Other than that this place was great and exceeded expectations.

The space was well laid out, the communication was solid and we got great suggestions for jet ski rentals.
I would stay here again and give six stars if you can add a pool like the neighbors in the back. :)

This house was amazing and very clean! It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and very close to the sound side which was great for nice walks. The internet gave us some issues at first but Kees was quick to respond and helped us get it back up and working quickly. They provided us with 1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper for each of the 3 bathrooms, a trial size bottle of dish soap, 3 dishwasher pods, and a small pack of laundry detergent(enough to do 1 load) so if you are staying longer you will have to buy more on your own. But for the price and location it was hard to beat.. everything worked great.. the master bathroom was very nice and all of the TV's have a roku on them so you can log into netflix/hulu/sling/etc! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood
House is on the sound side, about a 5 minute walk to the water. It's also about a 5 minute drive to the ocean side making it about perfect location. The house is well maintained and had everything necessary for our week down here

Comfortable and Convenient
Our week at this property was exactly what we expected and hoped for. It is modern with nice furniture and furnishings. My husband and I had trouble with the daily use of three flights of stairs due to our age and maladies. Overall, the unit was perfect for our family of six. We did have an unfortunate occurrence of running out of Gas (which heats the water) on our last day. The person/s who took our call assured us that it would be taken care of that evening. It was not. My husband and I left to come home in the absence of hot water. The rest of our family remained until checkout the next day. No one ever brought gas. The gas issue and the stairs will be the reason my husband and I will seek different property for our next trip. This is our choice and nothing to do with the property.

Awesome Getaway
The house was very clean, excellently stocked. We loved walking down the road to the sound and watching the sunsets. Kids had a ball with the open space on the top level, plenty of room to play! Quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to a park. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time here. All the right things here. Able to cook, sleep well. Only areas to improve are the following suggestions... bikes, better portable grill.. would stay here again. Priced appropriately as well

This house is great - spacious and clean with ample porch space, kitchen space, and a great table for board games. The kitchen is stocked with dishes/appliances so we cooked many meals here. There's also an outdoor shower! The location is great too - just a 10 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute drive to Publix. The only caveat is you must cross a VERY busy road to get to the beach without a crosswalk. The WiFi was also very spotty, so plan accordingly. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house! Great location
Beautiful home at great location!! Very clean! Only problem was the clothes dryer took forever to dry our towels. It would take 3 cycles to dry 1 load. This was our first time at the Outer Banks and we loved it!!

The house was very nice and accommodated my friends and I. We had a nice low key vacation/birthday celebration for my fiancé. Met a few of the neighbors who were nice and also gave some locals advise/tips/places to see. A nice side back yard and patios. The house was the biggest/nicest on the block. The beach was a quick drive down the street and you could walk the opposite way to the bay. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great place nice location!
The home is well accommodated and very very clean. Location was close to the sound and the beach. Restaurants were close by as were some extras like mini golf and arcade. Kees leaves you towels, soap, one load of detergent. Highly recommend this place if you just want to get away and relax.
