This lovely place is very clean and well-appointed, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere with all the amenities we could ask for. Our favorite part was the back porch, where we would enjoy our morning coffee. We will definitely return.

This was our first time to OBX! My kids and I had a fabulous week in this condo. The unit is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. The view was spectacular and I loved having my coffee each morning on the balcony before the kids got up. It was so peaceful. The wind was strong most days so it was a double red flag day at the beach most of the week, but we still had a great time on the sand :) The location is great, especially for first timers. We went north and south and explored many other places without having to drive too far. As many have mentioned, there are only stairs to the unit. (42 to be exact, we counted lol). They are not bad though. We just packed in smaller suitcases so we were able to carry things easier. Overall, I highly recommend this unit. We will certainly be back, thank you!

The space was clean and included extra comforts like a clothes line on the porch, jigsaw puzzles to do, and throw blankets. The view was beautiful. I think giant rubber mats on the path to the beach so that one wouldn’t scald their feet in the 100 degree sand would make this place unbeatable! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

First time!
This was our first time in the outer banks and it was great. The condo was amazing and perfect for our family of four. We loved the close beach access and the pool was a bonus. The vibe here is so chill and relaxing which is what we needed.

This was a beautiful beachfront condo- close enough to amenities yet pulled back from the main road. Loved the recent renovations- updated with a cool costal vibe that we loved!! The view from the third floor balcony was gorgeous. Host was responsive to all questions. We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderfully quiet condo on the beach due to double-pane glass and blackout curtains. Enjoyed the new king mattress and soothing decor of earth tones and sea blue. We really appreciated the owner providing glass, not plastic, wine glasses as we drink wine with our evening meals. New appliances and fully-stocked kitchen made the stay complete. We had lovely weather for four days and then some rain, wind and finally fog upon our departure. Very close to the Wright Bros. Monument and our favorite Mexican restaurant, Tres Tequilas, and seafood restaurant, Black Pelican. Highly recommend this condominium.

Overall good experience
The stay was exactly as advertised! The only thing is the bedroom/bathroom doors must have been freshly painted because they did not close. Also, make sure to bring quarters for the laundry!

Birthday get away
I read a review that mentioned the 3 story climb to the unit, so I packed light. It wasn’t easy. Not to mention that we are in our 60’s. A plus side to the 3rd floor is the wonderful view and sounds of the ocean from the balcony. Lots of good places eat!

This place is truly a gem with an amazing view of the ocean. This is my second time staying here - first time as a family vacation and this time as a quick get away. The place is clean and I’m thankful for the packaged linen and items to wash dishes and laundry. There was a minor issue with the hot water and the host addressed it immediately, and it was fixed within 45 mins. Overall this place provided the perfect R&R that I needed.

This condo was perfect for a girls weekend to the beach. We often found ourselves enjoying the views from the balcony. The private beach access was great. There are a lot of stairs but it was totally manageable. Check in process was so easy and our host was quick to respond to anything we needed. A lot of shops, restaurants, and attractions are nearby. I would definitely recommend this condo and plan to return in the future.

Troy did an amazing job maintaining the pool, gardens and grounds. He was extremely helpful with directions, restaurant suggestions, and local tips. The pool was the perfect temperature and very well maintained (all Troy, he's a keeper!). The condo was clean and comfortably furnished. Plenty of amenities like Dish soap, dish washer tablets, paper towel, TP to lay the 5 days for 2 gals. The best part, though, the patio was fantastic. The condo was great, but the patio was even better for the 3rd floor! The view looking over the beach was amazing. And the beach access... it's literally out the back door over the small dune. No complaints. Would stay here again.

This place has a great view, fast easy check in and check out. Kees was super quick at replying to all my inquires before and during our stay. Will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family. Great location, near restaurants, grocery stores and such. The kitchen was well equipped, remember to pack your spices, foil, plastic wrap, plastic storage bags and such, none is provided. Wonderful time at the OBX, thanks Kees!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The space is beautiful upon entry with the modern upgrades. The view is simply amazing and you are right there on the beach. Plenty of spaces for parking and everything is close by within a 5 min drive or nice walk. Yes, it’s approx 3 flights of stairs but it’s not a big deal - you’re getting good exercise. I recommend simply using your car to store all beach items when going to and coming from the beach. It would not have been fun chugging beach chairs and our gear up and down the stairs. We didn’t know that the pool was closed, which I do not recall seeing before purchasing. But the kids and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the beach and the stay. We will definitely return again. Special note: the host also did a great job implementing additional safety precautions post-COVID required by Airb&b.

We loved this beautiful and clean space right by the beach. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was spacious and perfect. As other folks have mentioned, there are quite a few stairs up to the unit, which were doable for us, but you'd want to take into consideration if you have guests with special needs. The space was clean and pretty, and had plenty of amenities, like a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, two types of coffee makers (drip and Keurig), and TVs in the living room and the bedroom. We loved having two bathrooms - there was a full bath in the main bathroom (in the hall), and a shower stall in the bathroom off the main bedroom. There was also plenty of closet space and hangers in the main bedroom. Most importantly, it was very close to the beach, which was quiet and seemed pretty private and peaceful. There was also a pool, which we didn't use but looked clean and welcoming. One thing I would mention for folks hoping to use the porch (it has a beautiful view!) is that it's full of mosquitoes and we weren't able to use it. We also would have loved an indoor lock on the door, in addition to the outer keypad lock (just for added security). Otherwise, the owners were very kind and prompt with any request or need we had, and we had an excellent time. Would definitely go back.

A very nice condo in OBX
Our family of 4 enjoyed the third floor condo at Admiral View 3. It was an ideal location! A 10 second walk to the beach. A great pool for afternoon swims. Close to grocery, convenient stores, restaurants and attractions. Absolutely impeccable customer service. We stay in a fair number of Home Away listings and this was by far the most attentive. Only 1 issue and that is with listing details: no elevator. We had no need for the elevator but for anyone requiring an elevator it does not exist at this property.

Fantastic ocean views, direct beach access, ample parking, and refreshing pool to cool off. Unit was updated and stocked with the basics.
Kees is perfect for shorter trips. Great value!
Hot tip: Unit is at the very top (42 steps) with no elevators. Either pack light or suck it up. You don’t need all those clothes anyway. :)
