It was an incredible place to stay and would definitely come back again. My friends and I had the best time. Truly the most beautiful location and walking distance to many local spots that I grew up going too so it was a lot of fun to revisit those.

Our Unit at Sand Dune Village was absolutely wonderful. It was easy to find and very well kept. The beds were comfortable and it had easy access to the beach and restaurants and shopping. The pool was nice and very relaxing. Kees Vacations were always very responsive and took care of our every need. If anyone is going to the Outer Banks Sand Dune Village is a great place to stay!

Family vacation
Great location, close to beach, restaurants, and stores. Lots of things to do in kill Devil hills. Having two bathrooms is a plus. Nice outdoor furniture.. would recommend staying there.

Stayed for a long weekend. Close to beach and several restaurants within walking distance. Pool was never busy so that was a big plus. If you aren't looking for anything fancy this is a great spot.

Perfect location
Great place for getaway. 2-3 minutes walk to the beach. Shower pressure was good l, kitchen was good, place was clean. They have lots of Keurig coffee choices. Many many movies, board games for kids and family. We barely drove out while we stayed. Pharmacies that have groceries were in walking distance, as well as restaurants.

We had a great vacation as a family of 4 here. The location was VERY convenient to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The condo was very clean with all basics provided. We appreciated being able to wash clothing/towels, and having ample cooking utensils. Would stay here again!

We've been staying at Sundune Village for almost 17 years and I have to say that Salty But Sweet is our favorite unit to date. The mattresses and living room furniture could stand to be replaced but otherwise - a perfect stay! Nice new flooring in the main area, as well. We do wish check-in was a little earlier than 4pm. Even 1 hour earlier would be great. We will rent again for a 3rd year at Salty But Sweet summer 2023. Thank you!

This is a great location for beach access and for walking to some local restaurants/bars. Grocery stores and other shops are also close to this location. Unit was clean and has a pool for those who do not wish to swim in the ocean.

Nice condo
It was very clean and a short walk to the beach. The only thing we had a problem with is the internet being slow certain times of the day because so many were using it i assume. Also the mattresses were cheap and not very comfortable. Overall a nice stay though.

We loved staying here!!! Location was awesome, just 2 blocks from the beach. It was very easy access to the beach. Property was located close to a number of bars and restaurants and things to do. The property itself fit our family perfectly. Nice living area for the family to hang out, great master bedroom, 2nd bed and bath. Sheltered parking right below our property was nice. Communication was great, fast, and helpful with getting back to us on places to go and to see. I'd stay here again and again.

Short getaway
This place was so lovely. The owner was very responsive to our questions. Beach just 2 blocks away and food lion for a quick run 1 block away. The house is beautifully decorated and peaceful! Definitely would stay again!

My family and I had a great time during our stay on the Outer Banks! The condo was exactly as advertised, comfortable with everything that you would need and perfect for a family of 4. The location was fantastic, a few minutes walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The communication with Kees was always quick and suggestions for places to eat or visit were really helpful too. Will definitely recommend for anyone visiting!

The condo was clean and easy to access from the highway. The walk to the beach was nice and easy with three kids. The pool was clean and the people in the community were very nice. We took advantage of the kitchen daily and it had everything we needed. We would stay here again!

This place was perfect! Such a good location. A quick walk to the beach, several restaurants, and directly next to a CVS, which was extremely convenient. We ended up in there at least once a day for snacks, wine, and other necessities.
We took full advantage of the beach being so close. The water was not swimmable for much of our trip due to a hurricane off the coast, but luckily the last day they were perfect and we had a great time waive surfing. For the necessaries, there’s a porta-potty right by the beach cut trough and we were close enough to walk back to the condo if that isn’t appealing. We didn’t spend much time at the pool because we’re more beach people, but it was lovely. Very nice temperature and plenty of lounge chairs to go around. Never looked too crowded out there, though it was technically off season being after Labor Day.
I can’t speak much to the kitchen as we didn’t actually cook anything. We mostly just made our coffee to enjoy on the little balcony every morning and made sandwiches for the beach. There a pot and a Keurig - a few pods were provided, but we grabbed filters and Dunkin’ coffee at CVS since we prefer to use the pot. If you want to go out for breakfast, stack’em high pancakes (a block away) is where it’s at, but be prepared to wait in line cafeteria style, it’s very popular and totally worth the wait - I’d kill for a buttered biscuit right now…
We had a blast playing numerous ruthless Uno games in the evenings, that was a nice surprise!
One of the highlights of our trip was riding around on beach cruisers on the safety of the back roads, morning and night. We used Ocean Atlantic Rentals which was a quick walk (less than a mile) and they were very reasonably priced and accommodating. Even my friend who’s a nervous biker loved cruising around on those things.
All-in-all a great little place! Didn’t have to get in the car once in 4 day, which is always my goal on vacation. Definitely want to come back!

Not on the beach but a short walk down same street is public beach access and convenient. Pizza place and other small local cafe nearby also. We enjoyed the central location to be able to tour the entire outer banks.

Beach access was a block away and the pool was clean with great lounge chairs for relaxing. I'd definitely look to renting this spot again when I come back to the OBX.
