Welcome Our New KEES Team Members

We would like to take the time to welcome our latest members of the KEES Team! Since our inception, we have grown from just 14 to over 300 rental properties. To ensure that both our guests and owners continue to receive amazing service, we have added 3 new members to our management team.

OWNER SERVICES MANAGER

Kelly brings over ten years of property management experience from local companies Twiddy, Sun Realty, and Village Realty.  Her combined experiences resulted in long-term relationships with many happy homeowners, vendors, and realtors in the business.

Kelly is a leader by nature and will benefit KEES Vacations by creating new training and process-driven workflows. Working together with her team and the new General Manager, she is eager to tackle new initiatives to uncover pain points stemming from our recent owner survey and feedback.  She’ll also be working closely with the other department heads to ensure your home is getting the attention it deserves.

Originally from Virginia, Kelly moved to the Outer Banks early on and has had a keen eye on the rental market ever since.

Kelly will oversee the Owner Services team as the manager of the department. If you’d like to stop in and introduce yourself, we’re happy to schedule an introductory call, Zoom meeting, or even a quick lunch!

GENERAL MANAGER

Heather Dozier has filled a key role on our KEES Vacations executive management team. In the newly created position of General Manager, Heather will be responsible for all operations of our KEES Vacations Outer Banks properties.

With an extensive practical background in business development, team training and development, and property management, Heather is a vacation specialist who brings a wealth of skills, experience, and expert leadership to our KEES Vacations property owners as well as to the KEES staff and vendors who provide services to your guests.

As KEES Vacations has grown from 14 initial properties to over 300 rental properties, the need for expanding our management team has become apparent. Two major benefits to adding a General Manager role include improving the guest experience by having a decision-maker onsite and providing more expedient management of property care issues. Excellent guest experiences serve everyone!

Additionally, we envision Heather’s role as a huge asset in the future direction of KEES Vacations as we continue to expand our vacation markets.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

KEES Vacations is proud to announce Catherine Carmell has joined the company as our second Business Development Manager on the Outer Banks!

After graduating from Peace College in Raleigh, N.C., Catherine returned to her hometown of Lake Gaston, N.C., and in 2003 and became a licensed real estate broker actively selling property in her community. She relocated in 2006 to begin her career in Outer Banks property management.

Catherine joined KEES Vacations in December 2021 as a Business Development Manager assisting in the growth of rental properties from Hatteras to Corolla. She brings a wealth of Outer Banks property management experience with her and is excited to be a part of Kees Vacations.

Catherine plays an active role in Business Development working with prospects and new owners alongside a team of professionals constantly reviewing current market traditions to better market and optimize rental income for all our owners.
