Now Hiring Linen Attendant

SUMMARY: The Linen Attendant position is responsible for daily tasks that support the housekeeping department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

Prepares linens, toiletries, and kitchen supplies for rentals homes.
Operates Linen wrapping machine safely and appropriately
Inventories cleaning supplies and linen/terry stock. Makes sure all items are accounted.
Assures the warehouse is kept clean from potential hazards.
Assures policy and procedures are being followed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires walking and standing for significant periods. Requires the ability to perform physical labor: lifting (up to 75 pounds frequently). Dexterity in pushing and pulling, climbing, stretching, and bending. Requires the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with guests and staff members: talking and hearing. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Indoors, 75% protected from the weather but not necessarily temperature. Outdoors, 25% protected from the weather.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Adaptability- must respond quickly to changes in routines and working tools.
Teamwork and collaboration- every employee needs to accommodate the views and opinions of other team members, be teachable, and capable of mentoring colleagues based on strengths. They should be able to utilize any communication tool that has been provided for them by the company effectively.
Problem solving and analytical skills -it is essential that employees can sift through the provided data and information, think critically about it, and make rational judgements to problem solve.
Effective communication skills- must communicate timely, effectively, and appropriately daily through several apps, via phone, and in person.
Time management-Maintenance teams work with restricted timelines and in controlled environments, therefor, employees must execute their job rules accurately to avoid rework and maintain productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:

Current and active driver’s license
18 years of age or older

HAZARDS:
May include, but not be limited to, burns, cuts, slipping, tripping, and other injuries incurred through the performance of physical labor.

PAY: Starting at $15/hr
